Account Manager Job Description
Dataram has a requirement for an experienced Account Manager or its Financial Services vertical. Under the direction of the NA Sales Leader, you will be responsible for the refinement and execution of the Dataram sales plan within enterprise accounts.

In this role, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of how to sell memory and storage solutions in the enterprise space and also a keen understanding of key players in the storage and server ecosystem. You will be responsible for the refinement and execution of the Dataram sales plan within the enterprise segment. You will build, maintain and grow a sales presence within the targeted enterprise accounts, and represent the Dataram value-proposition to key executives and customers alike. This role will be a "workload" expert, who can lead others through significant deals that require precision architecture to not only deliver the raw horsepower but do so in the most efficient way possible and be able to articulate this to customers as well as commandeer technical architect resources to deliver the winning solution/proposal.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales campaigns and sales cycle - successfully execute an analytical and consultative sales process from prospecting to close
  • Grow Dataram business in named financial services accounts
  • Formulate and deliver strategy to develop, manage and grow critical, large, complex named and target accounts
  • Be a subject matter expert in selling into financial services sector and understand their most demanding workloads; provide insights into industry, memory and storage related topics to internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and practice of the integrated sales cycle and all areas of sales
  • Build, maintain and leverage a broad network among sales and partners supporting your targeted accounts ‘ecosystem; execute and educate end user and partner community around workloads that influence the adoption of Dataram’s technology solutions (primarily memory and storage)

 

Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • 5 or more years of consultative sales experience selling technical products into the financial services vertical
  • Working knowledge of running complex sales pipeline and forecasting processes (salesforce.com)
  • Track record of success in hitting annual quotas
  • Working knowledge of workloads that drive memory and storage infrastructure
  • Comprehensive knowledge of complex selling motion in large Enterprise Accounts
  • Understanding of storage and memory (and server) competitive landscapes
  • Ability to travel at least 20%, including occasional last-minute trips or meetings
  • Ability to influence others to achieve results

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
