Dataram Announces Technology Veteran Michael Markulec to Board

Michael Markulec Joins the Board as Roger Cady Retires

Princeton, NJ, December 19, 2013 Dataram Corporation [NASDAQ: DRAM], ) today announced the appointment of Michael E. Markulec as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Markulec is a highly qualified senior executive with over 20 years of proven leadership, operational excellence and technical expertise in network management and security industries.

Most recently Mr. Markulec was President and Chief Executive Officer at Lumeta Corporation, a manufacturer of the most widely deployed real-time network discovery solutions for large enterprise and government networks. Prior to Lumeta, Mr. Markulec was COO & Co-Founder of nex-i.com, an internet technology service provider focused on the small and medium business market. Additionally, he has held management positions at AT&T, Niehoff of America and Pirelli Cable. Mr. Markulec began his career as an Engineering Officer in the United Sates Army, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Norwich University and a Masters of Business Administration from Duke University-Fuqua School of Business. He has received many accreditations and awards for his accomplishments and is a frequent speaker on a variety of networking and security topics.

Mr. Markulec brings to the Board extensive business and management experience focusing on engineering, software and related technology fields. “Michael is an entrepreneur with excellent leadership and business expertise. Dataram is also announcing the retirement of Roger C. Cady from the Board of Directors. Mr. Cady has chosen to retire from the Board after 17 years of service, two of which he served as Chairman. His retirement is effective immediately. “Roger brought a wealth of knowledge and business experience to the board and Dataram,” stated Freeman. “He worked tirelessly to support the Company, Board and shareholders.”
